Aalu gadde battani kuruma:

Ingredients:
Green peas 150g
Onion: 1 big size
Potato medium size: 2nos
Ginger garlic paste: 1.5 tsp
Coconut 1/4th shell
Poppy seeds 2tsp
Tomatoes: 2 medium size
Bark small piece and clove 5:
Chilly powder 2tsp
Coriander seed powder: 1tsp
Salt to taste
Cooking oil 2tbs

Procedure:

step1:
Soak green peas (if using dry) for 6 hours. If using fresh green peas please proceed to step2.

step2:

Grind poppy seeds and coconut to get a fine paste. Heat 2tbs oil in a pressure cooker and add to it the bark and clove. Add chopped onion to the cooker and fry till it turns golden brown. Add ginger garlic paste and then add chopped tomatoes and continue frying. Add peas and potatoes (cubes) to the cooker, add turmeric, chilly powder, coriander powder, salt and the coconut paste, add water so that it covers all the content of the cooker and cook until 4 whistles. Once done and the pressure decreases, add to serving bowl and add garnish.
